Episode 30: Bringing it Full Circle
Wednesday Mar 28, 2018
Wednesday Mar 28, 2018
This week we talk about a religious movement you probably haven't heard of, unless you do a bit more googling than the average person or happen to live in Venice, CA. Full Circle, a ministry by Andrew Keegan of "10 Things I Hate About You" fame, has gotten a little coverage and there seems to be an idea about it being a bit of a cult. We had to look for ourselves and we were as surprised as anyone by what we found and what we thought. Plus, insane hot sauce. Goose Chase!

Wednesday Mar 21, 2018
Wednesday Mar 21, 2018
Tonight we dive into forgotten realms of material science with a look into Starlite, the once known and then vanished "miracle" material designed to withstand insane temperatures. Once a hot new possibility, it vanished into obscurity. We look for the real story. Special thanks to Cake-ology for filling us with cake. Episode 28: Jumpin' Jehovah
Wednesday Mar 07, 2018
Wednesday Mar 07, 2018
This week we look into a religion that a lot of people know, but most people don't know much about. To be honest, we're not in the interest of picking on any one religion (though we've talked religion before), but the relatively little most people know about Jehovah's Witnesses sent us off on this goose chase. There's a lot to learn, a lot that sounds familiar, and a lot that just kind of breaks out hearts. Settle in with a tasty bowl of miracle wheat for another Goose Chase.

Episode 26: We Watch The Watchers!
Wednesday Feb 21, 2018
Wednesday Feb 21, 2018
Your home is your safe place. It's the place you get away from the world. Not so in tonight's episode, where we discuss two stories of families whose homes became terrorized by mysterious, unknown entities. Or did they? Listen to find out as we talk about some legendary neighborhood creeps.

Episode 25: They're Dead! Or Not! But Maybe! It's a Fact!
Thursday Feb 15, 2018
Thursday Feb 15, 2018
Who doesn't love a conspiracy theory? They're larger than life, usually pretty complicated, and more than a few of them force you to squint your brain a bit to get around them. This week we talk crazy celebrity conspiracy theories, on this special Valenstein's Day episode, and on a personal note, our three year anniversay. Appreciate ya.

In this episode we discuss two legendary vanishings, cases of people wot were here and then they ain't no more. Benjamin Bathurst, an English diplomat of the Napoleonic war era, and D.B. Cooper, a mysterious well-dressed man who vacated a plane with ransom money never to be seen again. We love a good mystery.

Episode 23: The Goose Files
Wednesday Jan 31, 2018
Wednesday Jan 31, 2018
This week we have a peek at the FBI vault, a collection of files made available to us, the general public, via freedom of information requests. Turns out they have files on a lot of things we hadn't even considered, with a little bit of intrigue, a whole lot of paperwork, and we've only just begun to look under the hood. Also we announce our contest winner and try some fancy beer.

Episode 22: The Dolphin Who Loved Me
Wednesday Jan 24, 2018
Wednesday Jan 24, 2018
Today we discuss the bizarre, and ultimately tragic, tale of a neuroscience expermient from the early 60s, in which dolphins were evaluated and trained for the specific purpose of trying to teach them English. No, really. Bizarre as it may sound, this experiment was bona fide, NASA funded, and had high hopes. Until it went off the rails. Be warned, this is a very sad episode, like rock bottom sad. Thanks for listening to Goose Chase.
